G’day, my name is Richard Owens and I am the Founder and CEO of WithWine.

I started WithWine because I was a customer who was finding it hard to buy from wineries.

I had money to spend but the wineries weren’t getting it… and I started to pay attention to why:

• I didn’t know which wineries to visit
• I couldn’t remember which wines I liked
• Buying from their websites was too hard
• The emails I got were irrelevant

Buying direct from wineries wasn’t a pleasant experience… and I wanted to fix that.

In the past, the technology companies have always focussed on solving the wineries’ problems but I didn’t see anyone solving the problems that were stopping customers from handing over their money to wineries.

That’s how WithWine is different.

We’re solving the winery’s problem, by solving their customers’ problems.
